My home made LED desk lamp. It runs on a 6 volt rechargeable battery from a powered toy car. Its a regular desk lamp with 2 – 6 cluster LED lights cut from 4.5 volt flash lights. I wired the circuit in series.

Paid at an east coast office supply chain store, I barely got a month before blinking started with individual LEDs. This video presents a whole NEW problem. Having worked as an electronics engineering technician for OEM designers, this is, with no question, a marginal electronics design. 10 minutes after powering on. 6 of 21 LEDs are no longer emitting light. Not good, considering that the lamp is very new.
